The Truly Holistic Blog, www.AstrideStella.info is a bit overwhelming in that there is so much offered it is hard to decide where to go first. Whether you want to learn more about homeopathic health to quit smoking or control your diabetes or the art of reading tea leaves you will find it on this holistic blog.

The post on “What is Wicca?” was enlightening to me. What I got is that Wicca is a recognized religion that is basically the “awe” of life.

It is a peaceful and harmonious way of life that promotes oneness with the world and creator.

Holistic Approach To Life

Maggie’s blog topics are all-encompassing in the holistic approach to life.

For example, I learned in the post “Mercury In Retrograde” that the planet Mercury which appears in the morning or early evening sky at times looks like it is going backwards. This optical illusion is called retrograde and the astrological phenomenon causes few issues here on earth. To avoid problems during this period it is good to:

Avoid signing legal documents.
Avoid closing big deals.
Avoid meetings that require big decisions.
Allow extra time while traveling.

It sounds kind of like Feng Shui to me! This type of holistic advice permeates the entire site. Anyone interested in living a healthy life without drugs would benefit from visiting “The Truly Holistic Blog“.

ABOUT THE BOOK
This collection comprises of mainly love and inspirational poetry, some are fantasy and take me back to my childhood when I would escape into the perfect love of fairy tales and mermaids. Much of the poems I write, I channel from Spirit (I am a Psychic Medium). The poems explore all aspects of love. Many too explore the philosophy of life and are designed to uplift and challenge the reader into looking at life and love from a different point of view, to encourage the positive view. The book takes its name from the poem ‘Enchanted’ which describes how love catches us aware and often when we least expect it, as if we are indeed bewitched and enchanted. I have written these verses from the heart and I hope they will resonate and touch yours.This book is for those, who are about to fall in love, for those who are deeply in love, those who were in love, lost loves and those who always will be and for the deepest love of all “Soul mates”.

ENCHANTED
I do not know what you have done to me, nor spell you have cast
But somehow you have magicked me and wiped away my past
All doubts have gone and wounds have healed and you have mesmerized me
You blew away the clouds of doubt, cleared my vision and let me see
And yet for all you gave to me, you couldn't heal your own soul
Let me return the favour, help you heal and make again you whole
I wish I could explain what you have given, the riches and the treasures
Not those of material wealth but the love, its joy and all its pleasures
I may not in this lifetime receive what I really wanted
It matters not for I know in another I will, for I have been enchanted

A SWEET TORTURED PLAN
In to your sleep
I will devilishly creep
I'll stalk and haunt your brain
So you will never be again the same
And upon your lips I'll rain
A torment of kisses with distain
With a torture so exquisitely profound
And with hushed steps I'll tiptoe without a sound
Yet who will believe it was me
For in the darkness you cannot see
You'll question your mind's comprehension
As I drive you to frenzied distraction
I'll be there in the shadows waiting
To sleep and close your eyes, you'll be hesitating
Or will you?
A sweet tortured plan

I AM YOUR SOULMATE AND I WANT YOU TO KNOW
I'm very aware I know you're there
I'm in your thoughts, I sense I feel
I pick up your dreams, they feel so real
I'm in your mind, I didn't plan to be
And when I close my eyes as if to sleep
It is only your face that I see
I feel I'm watched and observed
Everything I do your eyes are following me
I'm not imagining this tie
This unseen bond that unites both you and I
They say we have another half
That completes us and makes us whole
I never used to believe and I'd laugh
But as I've grown and come to realize
You are mine and complete my soul
I can’t escape anymore just like you
I've tried so damn hard to forget you too
I've tried severing the bond and cutting ties
Enlisted spells to free my mind
But you won’t go, I don't know what to do
How do I break a soul mate link to you?
It's a burden to carry what is true
When no one believes, especially you
But when I gave you my soul to possess
I hoped you'd treasure my heart forever and caress
If I had one wish, a dream to come true
It would be forever to be with you
You see my love I cannot forget
But never for one second I feel regret
For such is the power of love unconditionally so

SEPTEMBER TO SPRING

It's never too late to say what's on your mind
Even if your parting words were so unkind
The time we have is short, like the days of September
Drawing the year to a close, it's time to look back and remember
Every minute we have is precious don't throw it all away
For by the time you get to life's
December you'll regret to your dying day
Everything in life is a cycle, with a beginning a middle and an end
Don't let foolish pride hold you back a broken bridge you can mend
As the leaves turn golden and the daylight begins to wane
You have the chance to turn Autumn to Springtime and begin all over again
Don't let this chance wither like the leaves turn brown and die
Allow the tender buds to bloom and grow and the sun shine in your sky
It's never to late to say I love you, don't throw what's important away
True love dwells there in your heart and soul make your Spring come today

In the twilight hours I think of you

When the sun goes down and the skies take on a violet hue

And I cast my mind

To when our souls entwine

When in the night I dream of you

As silver shadows shine on indigo blue

The moon shines so favourably

Upon us so passionately

You've never gone from my heart

You're in my soul, of me you are a part

We have a special link you and I

It's not for us to question why

But to understand and accept

The universe astounds and is so adept

Of reuniting what is meant to be

Distance is no barrier nor are the oceans of the sea

For all we need do is to cast our mind

And in an instant our souls entwine

A spiritual love, so deep, complete and true

A PERFECT DREAMIf I could dream a perfect dream it would be with you
And stand on beach at sunset bathed in sun's dying hues
And as we watched the sun go down walking on the sand
You'd pull me tight closer to you, as you took my hand
Our gaze would meet as would lips in the dying light
A beautiful promise of what's to come in the advancing night
As dying embers of the sun turned to midnight blue
The waves muffled pleasure's calls of being one with you

A PORTRAIT OF LOVE

Such a sad affair, a runny watercolour sketch
A lesson in life upon my brain to etch
Only loved with a pure heart
A hauntingly beautiful work of art
That touched my soul like no other
In shades of blue and azure
Paint tears down the canvas
Forever, for eternity and ageless
Unconditionally so and forever in a sad hue
Sad shades of grey and disbelief memories of you
And all because you could not accept what was true
Preferring the vibrancy of lies and fabrications
Distortions and mistrust are your demons
Not mine, I only painted love pure of my soul
My fragile heart you ripped apart and stole
You decimated what was beauteous that I created
And there a portrait of love lies desecrated

A PERFECT SOULMATE

Silver glinting strands across my face
On the floor discarded lace
An empty glass lips taste of wine
A look a glance says you're mine
A kiss so deep takes my breath away
Your warm firm touch, I've longed for this day
As dappled moonlight reflects on the floor
I'm breathless and begging for more
As tender kisses rain on my face
There is no other perfect place
To be bathed in your love all night long
Knowing this is where I belong
Secret kisses, looking up with brown eyes
They smile at softly moaning sighs
And when you take me and we are but one
I know I am where I belong
For perfect union, is more than physical its true
A blend of souls I have with you
For deep within those dark deep pools I see
A perfect soulmate at one with me

A PRETTY PICTURE

I had painted a pretty picture
That was my fairy tale
Where dreams come with happy endings
And into sunsets we'd set sail
I coloured it oh so prettily in a rosy hue
And filled it in so warm and fuzzy
Full of love for me and you
I'd finished my picture completed it with frame
Decorating and surrounding it full of loving hugs
Alas before the paint had dried, over it began to rain
All my love I'd worked into it was so easily taken away
All for one shower of lies
A pretty picture ruined and destroyed that day

I KNOW YOU WATCH

I know you watch and spy
I sense and feel we have a bond you and I
We need no words to link our mind
We have a connection of a very different kind
The miles mean nothing there is no distance
For I can travel and see you in an instance
You may not think I do not know
But there is no where I cannot go
I hear the melody your soul sings along
For it sings with mine where it belongs
For now you may deny and not believe
But one day the truth you will receive
And when you do you will regret
Just how stupid that you let
The one who's soul fitted yours like a glove
The one whom with you is still in love
But until you see the errors of your ways
The soul who loves yours will apart forever stay

LORD IN YOUR IVORY TOWER

In your ivory tower you look down
Be careful there don't drop your crown
As you lord it there with your righteousness
Martyr of your facetiousness
Such a hypocrite who insists he's always right
Be sure of your facts before picking a fight
If you listen to gossip of a jungle of monkeys
You'll hear the Chinese whispers of harpies
You may think they have your best interests at heart
But deviousness they have down to an art
One day my lord your tower will collapse
Foundations broken by lies you'll see that perhaps
So be sure of your facts before you preach
For Vampires they are they'll suck and leech
And when your tower is raised to the ground
Your so called best friends wont be around
They will have moved on to find the next fool
I tried to warn you I tried to tell you
But there you were up high on your pedestal
You know what happens to the overly proud there comes a fall
And all because you refused to listen to what was right
Alas my lord now if you'd only had some foresight
I hope for your own sake this you will see
This my lord is my prophesy

LOVE LETTERS NEVER READ

I write you letters I never post
Emails I never send
I have so much I want to say, how I love you most
I write you verses of all the ways
Of how I miss you so
And dreaming of how it could have been, had you stayed
I write your name with yours and mine
It's so easy to write the words
If only it was so easy to put together, entwine
I detail dreams of you and me
I write them in a book
Alas I write so much words, words you'll never see
I pray and wish for every night before I go to bed
That cherished hopes and dreams came true
But they're love letters never read

Her's is mysterious beauty incredibly deep
As dark and thick as the forrest she walks when most souls sleep
Her hair is long and lustrous adorned by moonlight
She is a beauteous creature no doubt of the night
Fire lighted, candles burn her enchantment starts to work
Spiritual forces raised and run amok
The passion she eludes in the subtleties she crafts so well
She's captured your heart, you're imprisoned in her spell
You'll never get it back, it belongs to her for keeps
You'll be haunted by her forever in every dream you sleep

THE HAUNTING

Maybe you are crazy perhaps you are mad
I doubt you are happy and know you are sad
For something is missing that makes you incomplete
That last part of the puzzle that fits so neat
You can try to deny it close your ears and your eyes
And try and dull your senses but one day recognise
The truth will be revealed and then you will know
If you really are sane but wasn't to let go
Your life is a riddle nor does it make sense
For what was the reason for those times spent
When a soul touched another you cant clear out of your head
Perhaps if you admitted it and be truthful instead
Your haunting would cease
And your soul be at peace

It is not me who is held bound
I am free to fly, perhaps you think I'm around
Perhaps you imagine and you sense
Am I really there? nonetheless
Perhaps you think on your neck I blow
For maybe through your home i go
Perhaps the door that bangs, or is it just a breeze?
Maybe you are just imagining it's me?
And when you hear your name escape from my lips
Can you really guarantee your hairs being ruffled by my fingertips?
It's not me who is haunted it is YOU
Your soul, your conscious-know this is true
Instead of resisting face up to the truth
It's not me who is imprisoned but its YOU
For the only way you'll break your ties
Is to accept the truth and open your eyes

EVERY MILESTONE MEANT

EVERY MILESTONE MEANT

You cannot change what is meant to be
What is written in the books of history
Our fate is sealed and it's planned
Our destiny guided by a greater hand
And on life's journey that we travel
Many happenings will astound and we'll marvel
Of how its crafted and put together
Right down to the tinniest detail even the weather
Its no use fighting, nor running away
Everything is meant to be, every detailed day
It's part of our education designed to teach
To resonate within our hearts and to our souls reach
One day you will look band and understand
It wasn't just fate that created your plan
For what fate does, it merely assists
To keep us on our pathway so we will not resist
This isn't God's doing, nor destiny
We write our own books of planned history
For when we return to whence we came
In the library of knowledge our history book will be the same
And then we will come to realise and know
We write our own pages to help us grow
So live in the present, relish every minute spent
You planned this life, my friend, every milestone meant
