I haven't forgotten what you said

How it hurt and my heart it bled

Harsh words over others' lies

Turned feelings of love into that of despise

You really stung me with your words so cruel

And made me out to be a liar and a fool

If only you'd listened to what I had to say

I told you the truth and that still stands till today

You made promises, you said you would not break

So how come love turned into hate?

I shall tell you for you need to know

Either you were lying and you should have told me so

You are supposed to trust those that love you

But you chose a liar over me and let them fool you

All I want is some answers to what's unfinished

To find closure on why love diminished

But as typical you bury your head in the sand

Instead of dealing with issues, you let them get out of hand

You multiply your random thoughts in your mind

Trouble is, it's not truth, but the lying kind

And before you know it the lies have multiplied

I'm sad to say you'll never find peace

Those troubled thoughts will never cease

Climb down off your ivory tower and throw away your inflated ego

Listen to what others tell you and the truth you will know

For one day you will realise and it will be too late

And then you'll know you sealed your own fate

The silent stars go by

Smiling down from velvet sky

An angel strokes your tiny head

As cherubs gather around your bed

Never will you face the dark all alone

If ever there was a baby angel bright

To light up the darkness of the night

You are a special divine tiny one

A little piece of heaven a chosen one

In this blog I shall explore how we can achieve inner harmony for unless we feel good about ourselves how can we pass that on to others. Stress is the main cause of ill health in the western world, not only does it rob ourselves of our health, it affects how we look and leads to premature ageing. So to make the most of what nature has bestowed upon us we have to approach this from the inside, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. This is my holistic approach to achieving the best we can be. When I mention spiritually I am not talking about a specific religion or set of beliefs, for every religion mentions the spiritual side of us and in holistic therapies, which is the approach of this blog, we are mind, body and spirit, essentially we are spirit within a human body. If we tackle this part of us we will achieve inner harmony and that will reflect on the outside and give us that beautiful glow. It's also about achieving inner confidence, we can achieve this by caring for ourselves, good grooming is not being vain, far from it, its about maintaining our health, caring for our hair, nails and feet and keeping them free from infection. When we feel good about ourselves, we feel good about others, it raises our self esteem and gives us a buzz.

Who Is Maggie Brown?

Maggie Brown, webmaster of “The Truly Holistic Blog” is an author, writer, poet, and psychic.  As a lecturer in Holistic Studies with a nursing background, she blogs on topics such as reflexology, aromatherapy and Indian therapy with the reverence and perspective of a Reiki master.

The Truly Holistic Blog, www.AstrideStella.info is a bit overwhelming in that there is so much offered it is hard to decide where to go first. Whether you want to learn more about homeopathic health to quit smoking or control your diabetes or the art of reading tea leaves you will find it on this holistic blog.

The post on “What is Wicca?” was enlightening to me. What I got is that Wicca is a recognized religion that is basically the “awe” of life.

It is a peaceful and harmonious way of life that promotes oneness with the world and creator.

Holistic Approach To Life

Maggie’s blog topics are all-encompassing in the holistic approach to life.

For example, I learned in the post “Mercury In Retrograde” that the planet Mercury which appears in the morning or early evening sky at times looks like it is going backwards. This optical illusion is called retrograde and the astrological phenomenon causes few issues here on earth. To avoid problems during this period it is good to:

• Avoid signing legal documents.
• Avoid closing big deals.
• Avoid meetings that require big decisions.
• Allow extra time while traveling.

It sounds kind of like Feng Shui to me! This type of holistic advice permeates the entire site. Anyone interested in living a healthy life without drugs would benefit from visiting “The Truly Holistic Blog“.
